Here is me and my dog Tina! Rescue Tina from farm about four years ago. When I rescued her, she wasn’t in the best of shape. Her owners neglected her because they didn’t have the energy to deal with her. It was a rather unfortunate scene, as her owners were both very nice, they just had no business owning this dog.
Naturally, being the dog lover that I am, I took her on. She is the reason I was able to get the dog dancing. I knew that she had way too much energy you need to harness energy into something positive. I began by doing simple agility tricks. I saw that she absolutely love to go on our hind legs. I would reward this behavior with a treat.
Next thing I knew, were starting to do routines where we were dancing together. I think the first dancing routine that we did was a simple salsa. I know that may not sound simple to a lot of people, but for some reason it came naturally to us.
Ever since then we have been dancing together. Actually one several large dancing competitions across the world. Very thankful for the success that I’ve had because of this dog.
Aside from the competing though, she truly is my best friend. I cannot imagine my life without this dog. I’ve never been happier since I have had her. The really really cannot imagine my life without her. I favorite part of the days when she wakes me up in the morning with a lick across the face. And then my second favorite part of the day is coming home to her where she is all hyper and excited to see me. It’s as if I was her long-lost friend that she had seen in 15 years.
I hope the wake up with her every day for the rest of my life.
